Microsoft project 2013 title on gantt chart free. Format the bar chart of a Gantt Chart view

Create and work with subtasks and summary tasks in Project desktop

I'd like to copy to clipboard in order to paste into PPT the Project gantt chart timescale without the table information.

The copy picture feature does not allow you to hide the table data. I can hide columns by splitting the screen. But, I still have to do some cropping in another program to cut out the table elements that cannot be hidden such is task ID.

I followed the instructions and was able to generate an actual print of the timescale without the table info. How can I take this one step further and copy the image instead of printing it? Reduce the width of the first two columns to 0 drag 2. Shift the split bar entirely to the left 3.

On the task ribbon, second from left, click Copy 4. Now click Copy Picture. It is now on the clipboard. Thanks for your feedback. How satisfied are you with this reply? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. This site in other languages x.

I'm missing the mouse-over information in my project plan MSP professional when I hover over the task bar or the predecessor arrow in the graphical area of the Gantt chart view. I was used to see the main information of the task or dependencies here in my old MSP version and it's really important to see those instead of scrolling through the whole plan to find the start and end of a dependency.

Does this occur with all projects or just one? If you switch to another view Tracking Gantt for example does the problem continue? I also tried it in a completely new and blank MSP and it doesn't show anything. The service pack information no longer shows in the "About" screen. You can compare your version number to:. Any other idea what I can do? It's really horrible in a big project when you can't do a quick check on the dependencies I hate to say this but I am stumped.

I've tried turning options off and on without any change. You can review link relationships in the Task Form split your screen - but that does not restore the quick tips. And the popup is not only lost for links but also for the task itself. I remember it was usually showing the task ID and name. I have tried it on another colleagues machine MSP and his installation has the same issue: no mouse-over in the graphical area. Both of us do have the mouse-over in the table area of the Gantt chart, so it comes up for the notes info etc.
